Lincomycin is produced by Streptomyces Lincolensis and is chemically distinct from other antibiotics, it is readily soluble in water. It is effective against most of Gram positive bacteria , mycoplasma, spirochete and an aerobic bacteria.
spectinomycin is produced by Streptomyces flavopersicus, it is weakly basic and readily soluble in water, it has activity against Gram negative bacteria and mycoplasma. but like lincomycin is inactive against yeasts, molds and viroses.

For treatment of pneumoenteritis (calves), contagious foot rot, respiratory infections (sheep, goat),airsacculitis, CRD , staphylococcal (poultry), skin infection, respiratory and urinary infections associated with viral in dogs and cats .

Intramuscular Injection :
calves, Sheep, goat: 1 ml/10 kg B.W. 3days.
Dogs, cats : 1 ml/5 kg B.W. 3days.
Poultry : 0.2 ml/ kg (subcutaneously)
