The preparation is a broad-spectrum antibiotic and is used as a treatment against most types of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. It is given to poultry (broilers – mothers up to 16 weeks) and turkeys to treat respiratory infections (CRD, Pasteurella, Coryza), hemophilus, staphylococci, streptococci, mycoplasma, and other infections. Intestines (such as enteritis caused by coli bacilli, salmonella, and septicemia) and ovarian infections.
Hypersensitivity to florfenicol.
Do not use in animals with liver and kidney disorders.
It is not given to ruminant animals.
A decrease in food and water consumption and transient softening of the stool or diarrhea may occur during treatment.
Not given with penicillins, cephalosporins, and quinolones due to the possibility of toxicity.
Do not use with sulfanilamide preparations.
Usage:
Orally after dissolving it with drinking water.
Dosages and duration of use:
Poultry (broilers – mothers up to 16 weeks) and turkeys: 100 ml of the preparation per 300 liters of drinking water for 3-5 consecutive days.
