Animals:
Used for the prevention and treatment of Vit.K3 deficiency causes a reduction in the prothrombine content of the blood which prevents blood coagulant in haemorrhagic ,used in case of epistaxis in racing horses, anemia, heavy metal intoxication hepatic & intestinal disorders, prevention bleeding measure in delivery and surgery, and used in case of intoxicationas with anticoagulant agents (coumarin group) in dogs, cats, horses , cattle, camels, sheep and pigs.
Excessive high doses produce haemolytic anemia, hyperbilirubinemia & kernicterus in new borns
I.M ., S.C , I.V Injection:
*Prevention of Haemorrhages:
horses , cattle, camels, sheep and pigs:
0.5 ml./ 50 kg. B.W. daily for 3 days before surgery
Dogs & cats : 0.05 ml./ 10 kg. B.W .daily for 3 days.
*Treatment of Haemorrhages:
Double the prevention dose , repeated after 6-8 hours.
*Intoxicationas with Coumarines: 0.5 - 1 ml/ 10 kg B.W.
